Some store-level employees genuinely care about doing a good job and take pride in their work. When the team is supportive, it can create a sense of camaraderie among coworkers.
Cons
A pervasive culture of nepotism. Promotions and opportunities often go to favorites, not the most qualified. Misogynistic attitudes are tolerated, and women in leadership roles are frequently undermined. There is no respect for employees' lives outside of work. Full-time staff are routinely scheduled for six-day work weeks, and part-time staff are often overworked as well. Schedules are distributed with minimal notice, making it nearly impossible to plan personal responsibilities. Corporate leadership is out of touch, unapproachable, and often antagonistic in their communication and expectations.
