Good Potential to be Great - Engagement Center Supervisor Insite Managed Solutions Employee Review

Pros

• You’ll gain hands-on experience quickly, especially if you’re willing to fill gaps with little support. • Some coworkers are truly hardworking and supportive, and those peer connections are what get you through. • Great role if you want to learn how to stay calm under pressure and lead in chaos , because you’ll have no choice

Cons

Upper management lacks clear communication, structure, and transparency. Roles and responsibilities are often changed without discussion or documentation. • There is a noticeable lack of professionalism from executive leadership, which contributes to an environment of mistrust and fear-based decision-making. • HR lacks integrity and discretion. Concerns are not handled confidentially, and support is inconsistent at best. Policies tend to favor the company at the expense of employee well-being. • Accommodation requests and employee needs are often met with resistance. The approach to HR compliance feels reactive and borderline negligent at times — it’s surprising the company hasn’t faced serious legal challenges. • Work-life balance is virtually nonexistent. The expectation is to be available regardless of personal needs or burnout. • The company operates with a heavy emphasis on short-term profit. Layoffs and demotions can happen quickly, even without clear performance issues. • Overall leadership appears disconnected from day-to-day operations, and the business feels unstable at times.

Pros

I cannot say enough good things about Insite and the leadership. I work directly under the CEO, and I have never met such a humble and intelligent individual. The CEO really cares about us Insiters. I have a young child who is constantly sick, and I do not feel guilty when I have to take time off, something that I have experienced from past bosses. My CEO also invests in me as an individual. He has allowed me to grow and expand. The rest of the executive team is also fabulous. They are all intelligent, kind, and awesome people to work with.

Cons

I do not have any complaints, and I really thought hard about this question

Pros

-Solid PTO and benefit packages -Flexible work/life balance (Though this was more manager specific than whole company) -Had a wonderful manager who was supportive and tried to be as transparent as possible -Met a lot of cool people (Not causation to being good co-workers)

Cons

-Work expectations are extremely high with lower end salaries -Lack of tangible feedback or constructive criticism from leadership -Work outside of "work hours" is always expected -Never say no to clients even if what they want is unrealistic so you're expected to still deliver, and when you don't that's when you feel like you're not good at your job -Communication from the C-suite down is a mess, and everyone feels like they're right all the time and expects others to read their minds. A lot of them are in their positions without even doing the job of their department -Extremely high turn over but management doesn't seem to listen or even see the warning signs -Extreme lack of growth/movement opportunities -CEO can't pronounce any name that's not "White" and does it in front of the entire company
