Pros

- Great location - Switzerland is wonderful and a great place to live - Nothing about the school is a pro

Cons

- Disgusting work environment - Management has no educational experience - The salary is far below even the Swiss median wage - You can be fired at a moments notice - Many teachers are not even qualified, and yet are supposedly preparing students for external exams - Bullying of teachers by senior management happens on a regular basis - Awful place to work

Pros

The food was very good.

Cons

School leadership (husband and wife) engage in activities related to nonpayment of wages owed, questionable tax practices related to their assets and income, and hiding the learning disorders of students so that they are trackable. Their visa applications procedures and job positions are not entirely as presented. Positions also seemed to be divided amongst loyalists that and relatives. It also seemed to discriminate against certain students and staff depending on their backgrounds.

Pros

* Located in scenic St. Gallen, with mountains and the lake nearby. * Small class sizes allow for close interaction with students. * A handful of truly inspiring, international colleagues and students.

Cons

* Privately owned by individuals with no educational background. The school is run like a business, not an academic institution. * Toxic work culture ruled by fear and micromanagement. Constructive feedback is treated as a threat. * Teachers live under constant threat of dismissal, often for no reason. * Staff are underpaid despite Switzerland's high cost of living. * Teachers are not paid during the extended holidays (only for the 4-week legal minimum). The "long breaks" are used to justify extremely low salaries. * Leadership lacks experience and professionalism. Senior management is disorganized and prioritizes pleasing ownership over sound academic policy. * Data is misused to evaluate teachers without considering the statistical insignificance of small class sizes. * Owners interfere with daily operations despite having no educational expertise. * No investment in staff development or wellbeing. * The school's focus is image and marketing—not genuine learning or community.
