Pros

- Once you learn Intelerad software (to degree where you can cope on your own), your job is safe. - If you have coding skills, you will advance very quickly, and move to another department. I think one guy even made it to R&D. - You will get free chocolates.

Cons

- Lot of shift work. Schedule changes constantly. Management is very inflexible to modify the schedule (for example: you are morning person, and they schedule you to do three weeks from 3:30 PM to midnight every couple of months. You performance suffers because of that, and they send you a warning (three warnings, and you are out). - Insufficient training - Insufficient documentation - Co-workers are unhelpful, very often rude. You almost have to wrestle an advice out of anybody. - You will cope on your own, trying to scramble information any way you can. You will be working on several urgent issues at the same time, and you will be asked to take more (by making yourself available on the phone system, or by getting assigned issue directly by manager). Your frustration will go through the roof. And it never stops. - You will be assigned complex and urgent issue 15 minutes before the end of your shift. - Escalating problems you can not resolve on your own to the next level of support is like pulling a tooth. And if the issue is urgent, it is like a root canal. - Pager shifts that are actually work shifts, with calls lined back to back, or even two or three at the same time. - 80% of your skills will be about Intelerad products. If you expect to learn LINUX here, it is not going to happen - LINUX skills required for the job (even what they call BELT) are fairly basic. If you stay too long, good luck finding another job - all your marketable skills will be gone. - Sugar treats are not good for your health. - This list could be longer, but I think you get the picture.

Pros

Great culture, unlimited PTO, good work-life balance, opportunities to grow.

Cons

Lack of communication regarding new acquisitions. We were recently acquired by GE Healthcare, and the future feels somewhat uncertain.
