Seems good at first, until the toxicity swallows you whole. - Anonymous employee Interactive Employee Review

Pros

- monthly BBQ’s; although budgets for the head offices are bottomless and the others depend on 2-4 staff to juggle meetings, deadlines and onion cutting. - baristas; well yeah, sure, in the two head offices only. - support training and courses for career development; IF there’s money in the budget :)

Cons

You guys seem puzzled because of the high attrition rates.... I’ll give you a few pointers; 1. Seniority above skills. 2. “Career progression” is really just a cost saving sheme by not hiring someone who is right for the job and “promoting” from within. 3. Managers with zero people skills, probably because of the above. 4. HR seems to run the show with a type of “ high schooler secrecy”, which makes the workplace atmosphere toxic and grim. 5. Payrise? You mean, working someone to a burnout, them finding a better paying job and then hiring someone for 50% more the salary 6. Recognition program is a puppet show and again, run entirely by HR. Nothing fair about it. 7. Only the head offices in NSW and VIC count. The others in QLD, NT and NZ are like a pain to the other two.
