Intercept Health

Is this your company?

Faith based company, with homophobic values. If that doesn’t bother you, you will be fine. - Anonymous employee Intercept Health Employee Review

Pros

Many of the staff and front line supervisors have amazing knowledge and heart.

Cons

Upper management (regional level and director level - in this department - and above) represents some of the most disconnected and apathetic individuals I have encountered. HR is hobbled due to lack of support for change that assists the staff, and the company as a whole utilizes a state-sanctioned discrimination law, allowing them to ban LGBTQ parents from fostering, based on Judeo-Christian beliefs (and this is not the only company that honors it, but the review is about them).

Pros

Client families are easy to work with, one BCBA is supportive and helpful, session and center structure continues to improve.

Cons

Money hungry (starving) company, senior leadership does not listen to complaints or concerns, RBTs are not taken seriously and are spoken down to by senior leadership sometimes. Burnout is high in staff and staff are told that we matter but the actions don’t match the words. We are guilted for being sick or putting ourselves first. It feels like everything we say or do needs to have a good explanation as to why, or we will be treated as if we are stupid. Low quality staff are hired just because we need people, because the client to tech ratio is so skewed. Clients are being called off daily because of this ratio, interfering with their access to services.
