Two years ago there were 6 women SVPs who worked for the head of the Ipsos U.S. technology/media group and 5 male SVPs. They worked in Ipsos offices in NYC, LA, SF, and Seattle. ALL of these women SVPs have left Ipsos. They were some of the most talented and experienced women in research. They're now at clients (and not hiring Ipsos to do their market research) or they're working for Ipsos competitors. Two of the male SVPs also left. New boss hired from the outside...was a male (of course). When he came in, the head of ASI in the U.S. (Ipsos copy testing group) who was also a woman left. She went on to a better job at another research firm.
