Pros

The work in their Edinburgh call centre was casual which meant that you could work the hours which suited you.

Cons

The work was often unavailable. The casual staff were treated as second class citizens with a real "them and us" mentality from the management team who never worked after 530 despite the majority of the work happening at evening and weekends. The toilets leaked constantly but they were never fixed. Management were aggressive and never listened beyond giving it lip service. The morale was awful, everyone I knew left over the course of a few years because the managements attitude towards non-contracted members of staff was so bad. A few people even had to take them to court over their behaviour.

Pros

Plenty of opportunities and various locations

Cons

You work your tail off using gas, mileage, time, energy, tolls, and consistent but the authenticator who sit in the comfort of their home find any and everything wrong with the survey you fill out. Then, you don't get paid. Their portal that you are supposed to use while on location has connectivity issues or whatever reason they decide to blame it on. So far, I've lost $500.00 with this company. There are many other mystery shopping companies who don't try to cheat you out of money. If I had to guess, they use your pictures and get THEIR money but won't pay their contractors. I would suggest shopping for any other company besides Ipsos!
