Pros
Some good people aside from upper management
Cons
Much was wrong here, including: No strong sense of who/what the brand is The promise of perks during interviewing that were removed upon hiring: work from home (doesn’t exist unless you’re one of the “favorites”), unlimited paid time off (you might get 2 weeks but that’s at the discretion of your manager, and you will be penalized for wanting to take vacation at all), relaxed and happy work environment and culture (you’re expected to work until at least 6:30/7 every night and have slack and email installed on your phone to keep checking at all hours of the day/night/weekend) Very expensive medical benefits and no 401k Open floor plan where everyone and everything is heard. Even when whispering. No privacy. In addition, the culture is truly toxic. People quit and/or were fired constantly. Upper management does not respect the people who report to them and take every opportunity to ream out their direct reports. Micromanagement is rampant here. In a day and age where company culture is becoming increasingly important, this company falls incredibly short. Free lunch twice a week doesn’t make up for people being miserable at their jobs all day long. This is not a company I’d recommend.
