If you use Glassdoor reviews to choose a prospective employer, then this is the one, honest review that describes Jato best.
Here are just some of the cons:
There are no opportunities in Jato for professional growth.
There are no opportunities to learn anything new or useful.
There are no opportunities to develop your career.
There is no career path.
There is no natural progression.
The same people have been working in the same jobs for 20+ years. There are no promotions or opportunities.
Jato have fired multiple employees, across the globe in the last 6 months without warning and have replaced those employees with employees from countries such as Czechia, Greece, and Portugal, where wages are low.
Clearly the business plan is to replace the current workforce with as much cheap labour as possible.
Recently Jato have actively pushed employees to leave positive reviews on Glassdoor in a embarrassing bid to improve the company's overall rating. Notice the number of 5 star reviews in the past 6 months.
Jato actively push employees to give better ratings on internal staff satisfaction surveys. They believe if the ratings are low then it's the employees fault, when it's actually the company that needs to change. Your true opinion does not matter. They just want you to improve the figures.
Jato have paid no salary increases for the past 2 years. Meanwhile inflation is at an all time high. The most recent annual bonus was 2%. Pathetic.
From what I have seen, nobody has ever realised their full potential while working in Jato, and sadly, I doubt anyone ever will. This is a broken company under it's current ownership and managment.
