Pros

Maybe the only good point is the location in the city

Cons

Toxic Management: The leadership, particularly the owners, created an oppressive and detrimental work environment. Hostile Work Environment: There was a pervasive culture of bullying and harassment that went unaddressed. Verbal Abuse: Employees frequently faced derogatory comments and verbal mistreatment. Discrimination: There were instances of unfair treatment based on personal characteristics, which contributed to a culture of exclusion. Contractual Issues: Despite agreed-upon terms, salary reductions were implemented post-contract without proper justification or communication. Overall Experience: The cumulative effect of these issues made it, in my view, an exceptionally challenging workplace, and one I cannot recommend.

Pros

There a couple talented individuals worth engaging with. Offices are usually nice, people were generally friendly. And corporate is in Vegas, if you're into that. Half-day Fridays.

Cons

This company acts like it's in the Fortune 500 and that they're the best thing that's ever happened for Casino/Hospitality MEP field. They hardly ever make top MEP lists, and when they do they're typically pretty far down, and with good reason, most of their designs, drawings and documentation are terrible. Yet despite their mediocre work, we come back to the company line and propaganda, they constantly push themselves as the best, with weekly company wide team meetings (that are a complete waste of time) boasting about the company, without really relying on an actual merit; Monthly news letters that they send out, that typically end up directly in the trash; and constant emails from management. They label every employee as a "JBA Trusted Adviser", in an awful lame attempt to make clients feel special. It's all exhausting. Benefits suck, salary was Ok. They also love to overwork you, for the same okay pay, crappy bonus, and little to no recognition.. I realize other people reading this, might interrupt my words as just a bitter ex-employee, all I can say is, out of all the companies I've worked at in my career, this is the only one I HATE.
