Pros

The firm has a knack for hiring really nice people. It's not an overly corporate environment (though the cultural identity does need work).

Cons

Pay lags behind the firms that JMW sees itself as competing with in some fields. Wider benefits package isn't very generous. Junior turnover is high, and that's coming to be known in the market. Make sure you make enquiries about new starters and departures before accepting an offer! For a firm that generally favours in person attendance, the office space isn't as good as you'll find in other firms. The firm has been slow to commit to investment in infrastructure, namely improving IT systems. Billing and accounting processes are a bit cumbersome. Very late to the party on D&I.
