Pros

Aside from the free seltzer and hard working team mates, there is no longer anything positive to be found at Jenzabar. **Please note, the review left on 2/13 raving about Jenzabar is clearly written by HR or upper management. No part of it rings true.**

Cons

1. Zero flexibility - the CEO sits in the lobby and writes down employee arrival times. 9:03? You're late. 2. Any and all remote option was removed upon the founders return. Employee's who worked solely from home were expected to immediately begin commuting - this includes those who stayed home with children. 3. No incentives - do not expect a raise here. Do not expect any compensation for jobs well done. Do expect below market compensation. 4. Creativity stifled - any and all creativity has been stifled by the dictatorship of the returning CEO. No employee is allowed to speak their mind, and quite frankly none of them even want to at this point. Any and everything the CEO says goes - no questions asked. 5. Morale is at an all time low. Before, the teams worked together and had a great rapport. 6. The returning CEO has a complete misunderstanding of how to run a business - upon return she had to ask what we sold and was completely unaware of the company's function. She's hoping to become the new Apple and expects to achieve this goal by showing the staff 1980s Apple commercials to "inspire innovation." 7. Continuing loss of market share. 8. Religion is shoved down your throat in this place. Expect to see and hear reference to Christ on a regular basis. The list could go on and on...

Pros

I have dedicated my work to Jenzabar. I have worked at the company for 23 years and have experienced many changes within the company good and not so good, but I have always felt that they cared about their employees and that our success was the companies success as we are the frontline dealing with customers after they have purchased our product. Having worked in Higher Education all my life as a user, support, support manager, implementation and product manager I have experienced it all and have the knowledge of understanding higher education and that was rewarded it was great to have your work and commitment acknowledged by the company.

Cons

Well...the management seems to have forgotten that we are team and it doesn't matter what team you are on that we all have a role in the company, and that means recognizing EVERYONE, not just the product your trying to sell. Never in the past leadership were other product lines made to feel left out and that's the current environment. I have spent these years being proud of the company but now things have changed and loyalty, service, knowledge, leadership seems to no longer be valued, and that makes me sad.
