Pros

A wide array of classes, good language training, and teaching opportunities.

Cons

Where to start. JTS should shut down its PhD department. They don’t provide enough funding. The faculty is not supportive and the exam process is chaotic. There isn’t any regulation or standards. The professors who impose exams have no concept of the inadequate funding. If you are considering doing a PhD here, don’t do it! Run away and never come back.

Pros

Working for JTS wasn’t necessarily a bad experience, supervisors were cool, and job wasn’t difficult at all. Only thing was lots of overtime or getting stuck at times due to being short of staff when I was there. Decent although lots of room for improvement.

Cons

Pay is average Getting stuck on unwanted OT. Out of touch upper-management.
