Pros

Fully remote, top-tier technology & a newly implemented CRM! LEADERSHIP FINALLY MADE SOME VERY TOUGH DECISIONS, including the termination of 75% of the VP's at Jobot. Typically this would be cause for concern, but for those that work at Jobot, we couldn't be HAPPIER with that decision. One of the hardest things to watch as a producing manager is leaders raking in overrides for doing absolutely nothing. Well, that is no longer possible at Jobot, and that has caused a massive shake up. The leaders who cannot justify there role & pay, OUT.

Cons

The economy & job market needs to improve, and once it does so will the culture and job satisfaction. Doesn't matter what agency you are with right now, it's tough in this economy. It is quite "telling" when you see the amount of people that left Jobot, but now are doing anything they can to RETURN (aka as a BOOMERANG). If the company was to terrible to work for & such a scam "from the outside looking in", why in the world would former employees try to return? I'll tell you why...the grass is NOT greener & recruiters are understanding that quickly when they leave. Yes, Jobot is NOT offering the same amount of perks and free stuff that used to be the norm...BUT, the comp plan remains the same (which is most important to me and my family) & the technology keeps improving. If you don't like to be held accountable when you are missing quota, sales is NOT your profession...and Jobot is definitely not your employer!

Pros

Flexibility and autonomy, strong “base” salary in a form of a draw.

Cons

Management doesn’t practice what they preach. They sell “kindness and respect” but don’t volunteer information to their employees and sugar-coat it when backed into a corner. I would be surprised if the company is still in business in 12 months given the millions in lawsuits they have pending (one $6+ mil one they just lost). Bottom line, there is no structure or support and you’re always going to be chasing your draw while looking over your shoulder given Jobot’s track record of making sudden compensation changes or mass workforce reductions.
