      Pros

      Focus on safety, ethics and integrity. JCI pays well, and the bonus opportunities are generally realizable given the historic yearly growth of the firm.

      Cons

      There is a general lack of energy and excitement working at JCI given the firm's age and its nature as a conglomerate made up of independent business units. That is only starting to change, but the culture may be resistant.

      Had a lot of flexibility with management in choosing and outlining the projects I wanted to work on

      Cons

      A lot of the more interesting IT work was reserved for a few set of teams, felt insular in that regard
