Without going into a lot of those subjective illegitimate cons, here’s our viewpoint:
“People first” means - people at Joy are given an opportunity to explore themselves, innovate, challenge the status quo and grow fast. The platform is set. It is up to an individual to embrace it, challenge the norm and grow with it. You can find a 2 months fresher leading a very large initiative at Joy Technologies. It is very rare to see this in other organizations. That’s what Joy is all about.
If one wants such rapid growth in career then Joy Technologies is the place one needs to be. If “people first” means not having healthy conversations, do anything one wants without considering other colleagues well being, simply clock-in, do a mediocre work and clock-out, then Joy Technologies is not a fit. It sounds like this colleague who had a negative experience had a different expectation.
Joy Technologies is trying to do something different in the industry. Something that’s not been done before - a platform for people to ideate, experiment, innovate and shine. We call upon all like minded folks to join this greater mission!
