Pros

1. For a fresher, you can learn new concepts. 2. Friendly co-workers 3. Thinking outside the box 4. Opportunities to explore (basic ideas).

Cons

1. Work-life balance is the worst. 2. HR management - terrible ( if there is a rating column for this I would rate minus points) if they see you bending your morals for them they will hire if not they will fire you, as simple as that. 3. Fake cultural acts. 4. Lack of focus on employees. 5. No employee benefits - no cab, no WFH even when you are sick (you can take-offs that are not paid, basically in either way you have gotta suffer) 6. No proper management - they can't hire an experienced manager hence they make the people with 1 year of experience an interim manager and make the senior people suffer with no proper appraisal or incentive and give a whole bunch of reasons. 7. An inexperienced manager is a big deal here, if they can't even hire a manager, how do they expect a well-managed and cultured company, which they claim to be? 8. Monotomous work 9. Constant changes without improvement 10. Most reviews on Google are put by their interns and employees. 11. Interns hub ( they are trained by a year-experienced employee) and it's hard for the interns to clear the next interview levels with mediocre training. 12. People who really focused on their career path and mental health would not stay in this company for more than a year. (Because they basically brainwash you for their needs and they don't even think for a second to fire you) 13. They talk about transparency, culture, people-centric culture, employee benefits, good promotion and appraisal, and every other good policy of a good company, but they just talk and don't follow any. 14. Most of the employees leave after they get one year of experience, as they have a bond for freshers (if they don't have any bond, the majority of the employees would leave before completing one year) 15. Being happy and pretending to be happy is different, each employee here just pretends to be happy. I mean pretends to be "joyful". 16. As an ex-employee of this company I highly disapprove if you are an experienced candidate, for freshers you can know about the intro of the field you got placed in, also think about the above points before joining here. 17. If you want motivational thoughts and how to market yourself to a better place, you can join this company because the CEO and COO here do that, but I prefer you guys watch youtube videos to learn these skills. 18. They have their office located in a co-working space, if the hr team finds you talking with other company employees, chances are high that you are going to be fired or get a warning letter next. 19. 2 months notice period is non-negotiable. 20. All they think about is the company policy and not about the employees working there. They create a set of cultural rules that has to be followed and they preach it to the employees and everyone must follow it.

Joy Technologies Response

Hey there, I gotta give props for the super detailed review you wrote. Seriously, it must have taken some time and effort. Well, since you threw in a mention of me (ouch!), I figured I'd jump in and respond personally. By the way, I'm Sam, the CEO. Nice to meet ya! So, according to HR, it seems like you're one of those folks who got caught up in a confidentiality issue and had to go through an investigation process. I won't delve into the nitty-gritty details here to keep things respectful and confidential. But now that we've set the context, let's dive into my response! Work-life balance - We're all about results and culture here. People come in, deliver world class work, have a blast while they're at it, help us create the best workplace ever, and still manage to maintain an amazing work-life balance. Most of our peeps operate this way. They don't stress themselves out like in other organizations, they're not constantly micromanaged, and they actually have fun exploring themselves and their work. But let's be real here - we're in the most competitive environment, doing top-notch work, and building an extraordinary organization along the way. So, we can't settle for subpar quality, and we're not afraid to call it out when someone's not up to the mark. Oh, and did I mention we have a whopping 36 leaves per year? So, if you've got the right mindset, work-life balance shouldn't be an issue at all, my friend! Culture and Joyfulness - Look, in my humble opinion, people aren't dumb. Nobody can brainwash anyone these days, as much as you claim. And nobody's gonna fake being joyful. Our culture revolves around respecting others, striving for excellence, fostering fellowship, and spreading joy (what's wrong with that?). Those golden principles you mentioned? They're derived from these cultural components. In our latest survey, a whopping 96% of our peeps wholeheartedly accepted these principles. Sure, there's always gonna be that 4% who point out areas for improvement, but hey, that's the deal when you're running a large organization like ours. Interim Managers - I hear you on this one, and we'll do our best to improve. The thing is, we've grown so fast that our processes and hierarchies haven't kept up with the pace. But you know what? There are so many bright sides to this situation. We've got young guns shaking up the status quo, driving change in the industry. People with just a few years of experience are conducting campus interviews, having one-on-ones, mentoring others, and making a positive impact on their lives and the lives of those around them. That's what JOY is all about, my friend! So, to anyone who's up for joining us on our mission to create a world-class organization with human-centered culture, I've made my case. And to the reviewer - best of luck with your career endeavors. I hope you find a perfect fit out there. Cheers!

Pros

Very nice management personality wise. Culture concept is joy and happiness. You get to work for a global company.

Cons

The management doesn't exactly know what they are doing. My role was everything from sales to business development to creating marketing collateral and readjusting product development. There is no guidance as Americans are working during the Indian graveyard shift which is where management is located.

So much work and good pay.
