1. Little or no focus on improving skills, developing staff and learning new technology 2. Low salaries 3. No on-boarding process, awful internal documentation and zero training. You learn by doing or asking the right people and are expected to know 'everything' when starting a project 4. The way some senior level staff members speak to their staff is awful. It all depends on what teams you work in
