Pros

The first thing that struck me about KJ Technology was the incredible group of colleagues I had the pleasure of working alongside. From the very first day, I was welcomed with open arms and made to feel like a valued member of the team. It was evident that the employees at KJ Technology shared a genuine sense of camaraderie and a willingness to support one another. One of the most remarkable aspects of working at KJ Technology was the unwavering dedication of my colleagues to solving problems and helping one another succeed. It didn't matter if it was a challenging project, a technical issue, or simply lending a listening ear during a tough day, my colleagues were always there to assist, often going above and beyond their job descriptions.

Cons

A company that initially appeared as a promising opportunity, turned out to be a bitter disappointment, leaving me with a deep sense of disillusionment. While they dangled the carrot of progress and improvement, the reality was a stark contrast of unfulfilled promises, manipulation, and a complete lack of transparency. One of the most glaring issues at KJ Technology was their penchant for making empty promises. It felt like a constant game of bait and switch, with management offering assurances that they would address long-standing issues within the company. However, these promises remained unfulfilled, creating a sense of frustration and resentment among employees. It became evident that the carrot of progress was merely a facade, designed to keep employees hopeful while nothing substantial was ever done to rectify the problems. The most distressing aspect of my time at KJ Technology was the sudden and drastic downsizing of the company, which saw the elimination of 60% of its core members. This move was not only disheartening but also deeply unsettling. It shattered the stability and continuity that employees had come to rely on, leaving those who remained in a state of uncertainty and anxiety. The company's callous approach to downsizing demonstrated a complete disregard for its loyal employees, who had dedicated their time and effort to the company's growth. While the management portrayed themselves as affable and caring individuals, the reality was quite the opposite. Beneath their friendly veneer lay a group of individuals driven solely by self-interest and a ruthless focus on their business objectives. They consistently put their own interests ahead of their employees' well-being, and any concern for the workforce's morale or job security appeared to be of secondary importance.

Pros

The company has a supportive team and leadership. No role is too small to be acknowledged by managers and leadership. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Clients are great, and leadership specifically targets those who are courteous and respectful. There is a tremendous amount of opportunity across different services and technologies. The company is always improving and open to feedback. The staff is knowledgeable, and mentorship opportunities are available. Great benefits available, healthcare, dental, eyecare and retirement funds. Flexible on-call and well scheduled on-call placement. Well established on-call documented guidelines. Low on-call volume. Well established service board system and dispatching.

Cons

This is an MSP, so the work can be fast-paced and extensive. Time-tracking documentation can be tedious, but it is a necessary part of the process. Standard across most MSPs is required On-call, expect to be on-call at least once every 3 weeks.
