Pros
Generally a very flexible and fun work environment if you work with lower level employees. There is a strong team mentality within the production crew.
Cons
As soon as the fun wears down, problems throughout the company become very apparent. Management looks down upon people and treats them as mere replaceable objects and not as the truly hard-working and talented individuals that they are. Management is completely incompetent and has no business running a TV station. Our pay was terrible, I went into work there already with experience and was offered $7.25/hr without the opportunity for raises since mid-level managers aren't allowed to give raises. I took the job because I was in school and needed extra money.
Also, as you move up in your position to learn new things, you aren't equally compensated even if you are doing the same job as someone who is full-time. Your pay literally WILL NEVER increase.
