The management style of the company is very cut-throat, and has a very dictatorial feel to it. Ethics are often overlooked in pursuit of cutting costs, and being that this the medical industry, this is quite disturbing. There is a massive communication gap that exists between the multiple branches of the business. Rather than any mitigation attempts, only anger and frustration results during meetings. Blame is often tossed from person to person. Employees are pitted against one another as a means of rising to the top. The concept of a salary is a means of further abuse, where an employee is overworked and underpaid. If your tasks are not completed, you can be expected to work the weekend or face verbal destruction in a morning meeting. Hourly employees can expect to never receive a review or pay increase, unless moved to salary. It is then called a "raise" which means no restriction on the amount of hours worked. Mathematically, you're often better off in an hourly position. The turnover rate is extremely high for this company. If someone was terminated, it was often public. Others typically left after enduring the last bit of humiliation, stress, or anger that one could contain.
