Outdated & Overly Authoritative - Anonymous employee Kent Police (UK) Employee Review

Overbearing, unfriendly, supervisors, that stifles potential of the employees. Everyone is too scared to speak out, eventually good staff just hand in notice and leave one by one. Employees having an input in decisions affecting them daily on a work level was non existent. When asking about simple practices was instantly shunned away by supervisors. Culture is deeply rooted in very old and outdated practices. Skilled staff end up leaving as there is little other option in such an oppressive work environment.
