Pros

You’re left alone if you fit the boss’s type (The other reviews will give hints to the type) They have a few super talented, extremely hard working rock stars there. Quitting a job never felt better.

Cons

Absolute chaos. They brag about drinking from the fire hose. They have no real training or onboarding. Executive leadership is rarely there. Insane turnover. Like the kind that leads to messed up taxes, paychecks and the business losing a significant amount of cash unnoticed for a year. The owner is crashing a 4th gen business into the pavement on Truman road. The department managers are paid by getting huge accounts that take up all their time leaving them unable to support their positions/responsibilities. They’re constantly 10 employees understaffed. COO makes promises the way a politician does. You don’t realize he was never promising or planning to actually do anything until 6 months later. Spiced Ice is an acronym for the 9 core values they have. They are good at zero and bad at eight, but will ostracize you for not having them memorized. The coffee pot is even bad. The cleaning crew steals. The vending machine is always out of order. The bathrooms stink like sewage. The office is cold all winter, hot all summer and the roof leaks the rest of the year. Location is in a very high crime area. Cars (plural) are stolen from the parking lot. The window to my office was shot out. I can stop if that’s enough, or keep going? One more… You get time management lectures from a guy who shows up to work no earlier than 930.

Pros

I spend my days installing and servicing access control systems, security hardware, and related equipment at customer locations. When I came here, I mainly wanted practical experience, and the job delivers it. I've become much more comfortable troubleshooting issues, reading system documentation, and working independently in the field.

Cons

You must constantly keep up with new technologies and product updates.
