Unprofessional Amateurs - Anonymous employee Kern Medical Employee Review

Team work does not exist in my department, and the atmosphere of the office is not supportive. The floors and carpets of the hospital are filthy, and the medical record charting system is not efficient or user friendly while highly outdated. There is little to no work/life balance, and communication is nonexistant in my department if it does not contribute to gossip. Management often sends passive aggressive messages indirectly through other coworkers than directly communicating with those involved. Constructive criticism is provided in public as opposed to in private. My department has such high turnover rates due to a lack of morale, recognition, and appreciation that no one has more experience here than 2-3 years. In the office, "professionals" stand around gossiping about other workers. This place reminds me of high school or a sorority from college.
