Pros
Fun, laid back environment where team collaboration is encouraged. You are responsible for your results! Quality time put in = money in your pocket. The knowledge and skills I've gained in my 5 short months here have been very valuable to me. I've read the other reviews and have not experienced the same things. I feel like my weekly one-on-ones with management beneficial they are constructive enough to give me direction and areas for improvement into the following week but not overly critical, to the point that I dislike my job. Did I mention I enjoy the office environment here?
Cons
Your success as a recruiter largely depends on your counter parts sales abilities to the client. You may present good candidates that get over looked or lost in the shuffle. That's life, and much of it is your responsibility to make sure you are marketing your candidates in a way that they get a fair shake with the account managers. It is also your responsibility to follow up with your account manager about feedback on your candidates and to push back when they miss the boat. There is also a large time commitment, but nothing different than another job I've worked. If you work effectively and efficiently you can get the results you need to succeed.
