It's important to take it in stride and realize that to become a game-changing company there will be sacrifices to make. Professional sports is a fast paced and rapidly changing, just like Kinduct. As with any scale-up, there are stressful times, and lots of ups and downs. Kinduct is positioned nicely in the market after years of hard work, battle scars, and big wins, and a really loyal employee base. Because of the battles we face day in day out, our team is a tight knit group. The company offers flexible hours, a pool room, tv area and lounge, and has an amazing view of the Halifax harbour (12th floor of Purdy's Wharf). Everyone looks after each other. It's a great opportunity to work across different departments, and learn about all areas of the company (product, tech, IT/IS, sales, business dev, client support, etc).

Competing priorities and client expectations can be difficult to manage, from both the client-facing team and technology team. Due to a rapidly changing sports-tech industry, it can be hard to keep up. If you're looking for a 9-5 job, this might not be for you. It requires dedication and the occasional long day(s), but management is always aware of the effort being made and looks after their team.
