Long hours, lack of support

New lab management is creating an open, healthy work environment. Concerns are addressed and teamwork is encouraged. While not perfect, what laboratory is, there is a drive and passion for doing the right thing for every patient every time. Quality is improving after a housecleaning of toxic managers and supervisors that had brought morale down and increased turnover in the past. Things are looking better.

Benefits could be better, however with Northwestern Medicine taking over in 2017 the benefit package will be superior to what is offered now.
