Pros
I worked as a KOSEC intern as a part of a course-accredited internship under the research team. We were supervised by Senior VP Laurence Parker-Brown who was very friendly and helpful. He puts a lot of time and effort into making sure the interns are engaged throughout the internship and adjust well to the workplace. We were able to develop writing and communication skills as well as developing financial research skills. The work I have done has been used for internal reports as well as some of their published material. The workers are quite friendly and close-knit.
Cons
Not too many downsides to the internship itself. A minor complaint is that most of our work is report writing, which can sometimes be repetitive. The CEO Michael Kodari did not make too much effort to welcome and interact with us, which was slightly disappointing considering the intern intake was quite sizable.
