Pros

- rapid growth and expansion - benefits and pay are decent

Cons

- lack of organization, during my 7 months here, the structure and role responsibilities changed 3 times - no focus, everything is a priority and a rushed. Several projects would be started, with unreasonable deadlines and then cancelled halfway through for new arising priorities and then employees would be penalized for not completing previous projects because of shifting priorities. - unclear responsibilities. This is partially because there still in a start up mentality but the role and responsibilities I had shifted several times during my tenure. - lack of work life balance. You are expected to be online and active with no flexibility (despite being told there is flexibility) during working hours. And your calendar must be fully visible to everyone with no privacy blocks. I had an emergency situation after a storm with no power, and asked for PTO for 3 days and my request was denied and it was demanded I still be online when there was no power or Internet in my city. - invasive. Cameras must be on at all times in every meeting. - conflicting directions. I was told not to multitask during meetings (of which there are a lot) and take notes, but was penalized for taking notes and told to ask after meetings. So when I stopped taking notes and ask for clarification on subjects discussed I was berated for not taking notes. Which is it? - they don't want your advice or experience, they want your labor. I was the SME in my area and frequently advised on lead times, best practices, and project requirements, but everything was ignored and I was penalized for questioning managements direction, despite trying to protect the company. And when the results were subpar I was further penalized for not meeting expectations despite my advice and warnings being ignored. - no training. You are literally thrown to the wolves day 1 with no guidance, but again penalized for not being an immediate expert. - they cancel your PTO. I interviewed my coworkers if I had had any negative performance or caused them problems and received an overwhelmingly positive response. When I shared my performance review with them they were shocked and confused, and when I showed they cancelled my PTO despite meeting all my goals and performance metrics they agreed that it was in just and uncalled for. - process matters more than results. I achieved all my goals, no bottlenecks, or errors. And high quality. But because I didn't do inconsequential, administrative tasks, I was penalized and told my results were not meeting expectations.

Pros

Mission-driven work that actually matters - reducing the global burden of disease shows up in the day-to-day Genuinely great people: smart, curious, collaborative colleagues who are good at what they do Strong AI-forward environment: the company is moving fast on AI and actively encourages using modern tools and rethinking workflows Real flexibility: generous PTO policy and latitude over working hours, built on outcomes rather than clock-watching Forward-looking direction: it feels like a company investing in where things are heading, not standing still Supportive culture that lets you do your best work

Cons

Fast pace means priorities can shift, so comfort with change helps Growth and evolving processes mean some things are still being built out
