Pros

1) They allow us to watch you tube and Facebook. you can watch movies also by attaching penndrives. So it is a typical MNC. 2) Weekend is of 2 days and you get 26 leaves per year. 3) If you tell manager that you are not going to come to office for 2 weeks ,still it is not a big problem. As neither manager is going to work, in between. 4) Sends to Finland .( if you are lucky. It is not compulsory for them ) .

Cons

1) Very serious issue is- Managers and seniors of various design dept. are working at their positions since 2007 till date (Aug 2015) . They all are mainly from Mumbai and they have formed their closed group over there. They have occupied higher posts and eating salaries for doing no work. They spend time watching YouTube videos and Facebook as all processes are well set and designers or bottom line is taking care of everything. 2) You will learn nothing and you will be handed over to a person who barely knows about his work. 3) No good looking face available in office. All are dumb and 'tired of life' type of faces. Very few are available and which are really nice. 4) They ask heavy questions in interviews but even interviewer doesn't know anything about it. They do it to create good impression on candidates and freshers so that they get impressed and feels that company really works on some core mechanical things . BUT IT IS NOT LIKE THAT. 5) Since last 4 years, all are getting increments in range of 5-8 %.which is less than inflation rate. 6) No live culture. All seniors talk about how bad the company is and how they have been suffered. No motivation from them.(FEW EXCEPTIONS ARE THERE. FORTUNATELY I HAVE WORKED WITH THEM). 7) Company sends candidates to Finland just to ensure that he earns well through the trip and doesn't leave the company. 8) No future is there in crane field. Konecranes is taken over by Terex on 11-08-2015. 9) No one in market will ask you as Konecranes employee has zero knowledge about the real things.Either you have to study hard or look for govt. job. 10) No entertaining meetings and parties which generally takes place in a MNC. everything has been stopped due to COST CUTTING. 11) Managers are least bothered about your concerns and teaches us how imp the company and work is. 12) Located at Magarpatta which has worst accessibility in Pune and worst work place. 13) No good food provider available. you have to eat on your own. 14) If candidate is smart and may cause trouble to managers then 3 months probation extension is given to him to ensure that he remains within limits and follow manager blindly to secure his career. But let me tell you, this is maximum what Konecranes managers can do to you. They can't even give a memo to anyone. They have zero rights in their hands. 15) list is endless and I hope these are enough points for facing employee shortage for Konecranes. 16) FRESHERS SHOULD TRY WORKING IN SMALL SCALE COMPANIES TO HAVE REALLY A GOOD KNOWLEDGE.

Pros

Healthcare plan is great, chance to interact with many people globally if you are high enough of a position. Managers are hit and miss, depends on your region but I had generally positive experiences with Inside Sales Managers.

Cons

No work from home time for most people, New management for US sales came in and messed up the culture. Fired people seemingly at random, changed the entire organizational manager structure, and did so while delaying movement to a much needed larger office. Everyone left just feels scared and is holding out while they find something else.
