Pros

Great people and strong team morale. Colleagues are supportive and easy to work with. Fully remote environment. The flexibility is excellent and well-structured. Not micromanaged. Leadership generally trusts recruiters to do their work without hovering. Good work-life balance. Remote setup and autonomy make day-to-day manageable. Established brand name. Having Korn Ferry on your résumé carries weight in the industry.

Cons

Decision-making is slow from the top down, which stalls progress and creates unnecessary delays. Poor communication flow. Information often doesn’t reach recruiters clearly or in a timely manner. Little to no training or development. New recruiters are largely left to figure things out on their own. Leadership doesn’t leverage individual strengths. Roles aren’t aligned with what recruiters do best. Processes feel disorganized. Expectations shift without clear guidance or support.

Pros

The client diversity across industries and regions is top notch. Great brand recognition. The marketing investments in Korn Ferry Tour and LA28 paid off. Smart people. Remote work is a plus as 75% people work remotely. No push for facetime in offices. Work from anywhere! Everyone knows of Korn Ferry!

Cons

A culture of long hours and interrupted vacations. Clear demarcation between haves(fee earners) and have nots (execution). High expectations with outdated systems, manual processes, inefficient. Low pay as there are no merits due to market/company performance. Hard to get food at the holiday party so stop at Five Guys prior.
