Pros

Hires recent graduates but for below market pay.

Cons

Zero on boarding or training, pay is below market and absolutely non-negotiable even if you have experience and/or a Master's degree that qualifies you for a higher salary, completely dysfunctional management - my team had a new manager every 2 months, this company spent more on parties than giving people cost of living salary adjustments. This company will literally waste your time and then lay you off along with thousands of others during a pandemic. Seriously do not waste your time here. Absolutely no way to move teams or get promotions no matter how hard you try or how many other managers vouch for you. The hours are long and there is a very stark divide between the divisions, the Executive Search team was so condescending to other divisions that our team literally had to have an internal meeting about how to act professionally in the work place - fyi it was the senior level consultants who had the most complaints filed against, not the recent grads. Also if you're not Caucasian, prepare to be the token ethnic person on your team and to be constantly asked to be in videos or advertisements to show how "diverse" Korn Ferry is. It is NOT diverse at all, their work and level of diversity is comparable to the 1950's.

Pros

The client diversity across industries and regions is top notch. Great brand recognition. The marketing investments in Korn Ferry Tour and LA28 paid off. Smart people. Remote work is a plus as 75% people work remotely. No push for facetime in offices. Work from anywhere! Everyone knows of Korn Ferry!

Cons

A culture of long hours and interrupted vacations. Clear demarcation between haves(fee earners) and have nots (execution). High expectations with outdated systems, manual processes, inefficient. Low pay as there are no merits due to market/company performance. Hard to get food at the holiday party so stop at Five Guys prior.
