Pros
I liked that we could work from home or do a hybrid schedule. The PTO was pretty good. The company gave us all the equipment we needed. They offered a free Pharmacy Technician certification program, which helped me since I was new.
Cons
There were a lot of weekly system and technology issues, which was frustrating and backed up our work Leadership changed a lot while I was there, so rules and expectations kept changing, which was confusing for someone new. The pay seemed lower compared to similar jobs I looked into. The work environment could feel a little tense or dramatic at times. Sometimes it felt like employees weren’t very appreciated by leadership. Workloads didn’t always feel balanced. As a trainee, I noticed newer or faster-learning techs getting extra work because some fully trained/senior techs weren’t as consistent. Training didn’t always feel the same from person to person, which made it harder to know the correct way to do things. Some upper management didn’t seem very professional at times, and I sometimes heard things said about employees that made me uncomfortable.
