Pros
If you are interested in the company because of its affiliation with fashion, then thats a plus for your resume, and its an inside look at all the BS that comes with the industry.
Cons
Leadership is completely under-qualified. There is no real path or concern for career development for anyone. They are known for playing the blame game, no one in leadership takes accountability. President is highly out of touch with industry standards, industry innovations, or how to stay competitive in this market. She takes an elitist approach to most things and isn't interested in letting leaders flourish and make decisions. She is probably the biggest micromanager to exist. HR is overwhelmed and understaffed HORRIBLY. The benefits package is not nearly as competitive as current times, so if you are looking for work/life balance or flexibility, the ability to work from home, this isn't your place. Hiring and firings are based on discriminatory decisions and diversity/inclusion is never considered when business decisions are made. There is no real focus on fashion here, so if you are looking to further your career in the fashion space and work at a high end/luxe level, this isn't the place for you. The environment holds a lot of tension, to sit in the open floor plan in dead silence (save the random playlist playing in the background) promotes a very uncomfortable feeling to work in everyday. It feels like everyday at work you are taking the SATs. Its a very reactive mentality, there are no well thought out plans for action.
