Pros
- Supported autonomous work culture. Leaders do not micromanage, creating an autonomous yet supported working environment.
- Great team. Leadership is able to recruit talented, experienced, and passionate individuals that are great to work with. Leadership fosters a great culture through fun activities, retreats, employee programs, etc.
- Lifelong professional development and support. Leadership cares deeply about employee professional development both at Kuli Kuli and beyond. Leaders supported my skill development, networking, and more while at Kuli Kuli. And after my internship, continued to connect with me and offer support.
Cons
Limited open positions. There may be limited opportunities to join the team as it continues to scale and built out its organization. While there was not a full-time opening that fit my profile after my internship, leadership was very transparent and supported my career search outside Kuli Kuli. Further they reached out to me as soon as something that fit my background became available. I would advise interns to just bear in mind there may not be a full-time opportunity available afterwards, but I wouldn't let that deter them from the opportunity.
