Pros

It’s not all negative. The office is cool, there are free perks organised by the office team, and there are some genuinely great people who work there.

Cons

I’ve worked at LADbible Group for a few years now and the company has developed a reputation for being quite ruthless, with employees often feeling like factory workers churning out content with little to no progression. It has also become known for female employees to feel unsafe working there, particularly due to the behaviour of certain senior male staff members. For women considering having children, it may not feel like a supportive environment. The women who return from mat leave suddenly leave the business or eventually feel pushed out. HR no longer feels as approachable as it once did, especially if you’re at a junior level. The pay is particularly low compared to competitors and the leadership’s team is all about making money, even though employees are feeling burnt out.

Pros

Great team effort with my immediate colleagues to do the best we can in a sinking ship. There are a few good eggs in the business to have banter with that make coming to the office tolerable.

Cons

Pay bracket is way below market rate, yet management are surprised when they struggle to retain/ hire staff. Toxic culture that overlooks bullying and segregation based on if you are a member of the elite social hierarchy. Misogyny is at an all time high, they may as well bring back cleavage Thursdays.
