Pros
- Good colleagues who take genuine care of each other.
Cons
- Close to 0 chances of any vertical or lateral career growth, unless you are an engineer or a man. Most female employees stay in the same role for 10 to 20+ years, while male employees have a steady development and are promoted every couple of years. - Senior management is often too comfortable with "the way things are" even if everyone under them warns them that things are not working and needs change. - Deviation from the agreed scope of your role is a real issue. When an employee leaves or is assigned to a new team their old tasks gets distributed to the rest of the team. Not uncommon for employees to have one specialized job title but in reality is executing 2 or 3 completely different functions (even in different departments). - Salary is not competitive nor does it follow the cost of living crisis.
