Pros

Was a great place to work until the merger with Red Energy. The consultants are great to banter with, they're really nice. Systems are fairly easy to use.

Cons

After moving Lumo and Red staff in to the new building the business did what they could to get rid of the higher paid Lumo staff by creating redundancies, changing KPIs and showing outright favouritism to Red Energy staff. Don't bother working here if you have kids. You are the worst person in the world for taking a day off to look after your sick child. They will try and brainwash you to think there's no better place to work so it's pointless to seek outside opportunities.

Pros

Lumo Energy provide a professional yet friendly environment to work. The leaders who have been there a while genuinely care about their team members. The sales and retention team have a generous commission structure The culture at Lumo Energy thrives on collaboration, respect, decency and agility. The team leaders are great to work with and are 100% committed to ensuring you are enjoying your time at Lumo and being the best you can be. They are great at celebrating your achievements.

Cons

Needs to be a more flexible with team members for employees with families. Needs to work on discouraging clique groups. Needs to completely eliminate Mumbai call centre as we hear constant negative feedback from customers and staff as it is impacting customer experience. Career progression has slowed down in recent months, would like to see the business focus on making this a strength.
