Pros

Zero. I can honestly say I don’t have a single positive thing to say about the company. It was a nightmare to work here.

Cons

Don’t expect to be here long, and trust me you won’t want to be anyway. 1. The biggest con is having to put up with Marc. Most of the positive reviews on here seem to be from when a real executive leadership team was brought in, and then Marc abruptly fired all of those people and took over as CEO again. I’ll echo what a ton of other reviews have said by saying Marc really is a narcissistic sociopath. You will even be coached by other senior leadership on how to “handle” him. So expect a lot of weird passive aggressive and sometimes even just straight up aggressive behavior. 2. The company is not doing well. They are a subscription based service that truly does nothing to help people find work. They are deceiving people and asking for an unreasonable amount of money for jobs you can apply to for free on most other job boards. If you’re interviewing with them they will say they’re profitable, but just know that they’re walking a tightrope. 3. You will not feel good about working here. If you want to be able to take pride in where you work and the work you’re doing there then look elsewhere.

Pros

This review is from 2011. Opportunity cost, you work in New York. Anything can happen there at any time. Well stocked and good variety of snacks. Oatmeal provided for breakfast. The company gave things sometimes like blankets and T-shirts.

Cons

Company culture is unconventional. The end of the workweek is Thursday, because the jobs posted that day go live Friday. So everyone celebrates the end of the week on Thursday instead. If you have a long commute you will be forced to make a choice between sleep and connecting with coworkers and colleagues after the day. Permatemps are also treated as second-class citizens, due to a Supreme Court decision. They don't get to participate in company morale events, such as barbecues, picnics,. One time the company hired masseuses to give employees massages. Permatemps did not get to receive a massage. Management will take credit for your work, so document every exchange. Management would rather terminate employees in the case of an HR incident rather than address the problem.
