Pros
Remote work Talented engineers Diverse team WLB and benefits are OK
Cons
Management is toxic, incompetent, and constantly lies. The company is too top heavy. They conducted repeated rounds of layoffs with minimal severance. Forget about stability, job security, or career progression. The business model is to be a glorified staffing firm. They have employees in call centers in LCOL countries manually submitting resumes. All the tech stuff is a facade. The code base is convoluted and written in an arcane and niche language, so you won't develop transferable skills. The people who initially built it are all gone, and there is constant churn due to layoffs, so there is no institutional knowledge. Little or no documentation exists for anything. The pay isn't great. Senior level engineers are working for mid-level wages. No stock options or any other perks. The adherence to the "agile" model borders on religious.
