Pros
As the company has grown as family-run, generational transition has been a focus. While this can seem campy to outsiders looking to criticize, it's actually been well-executed by a family that cares about their people far beyond the business. Attention to each other comes second only to product quality. Most people feel appreciated and connected. Company has a high level of knowledge about the business it is in.
Cons
Business is quite seasonal, and high-volume times are focused so heavily on meeting customer needs. Some issues have to wait. Smaller company has so many unique roles that advancement opportunities are less.
