Pros
really good chocolate, and very friendly co-workers if they feel like talking to you (which they don't always do.) You do get perks as well such as discounted tickets with partner organizations and you can wheedle your way into events if you ask nicely. Great work-life balance, because you don't actually have to do much work to survive here.
Cons
Very clique-y. I agree with the other post: if you haven't been there for twenty years, don't bother. If you are looking for a stable job with no growth potential, then this is perfect, because you can completely check out in a job here and nobody will notice. However, don't work here if you are ambitious or think of new ideas and/or suggestions that you would like to pass along. Trying to suggest a new idea is like pulling teeth. Also, even those who have been in the company the longest don't talk to each other. There are a myriad of different systems being used to track sales, and so getting an overall picture of the health of the entire company is nigh on impossible. If they were selling anything less appealing than "gourmet chocolate from Vermont" they would no longer be around.
