Majority of the senior management have little respect and care for their employees, unless your are on track to hit target that quarter; they don't want to know you if your not bringing in the money.
The gold award in investors in people is an absolute farce; only the management's favourite employees were interviewed by the panel; therefore not a true reflection of 75% of the employees. All the promises and activities that took place during the week they were assessed by investors in people was an act.
The operations director needs to brush up on her interpersonal skills and acknowledge that employees at lance mason are not primary school students who need to be yelled at week after week.
My time at Lance Mason was a nightmare. I was made to feel worthless and my team were treated as school children who were not capable of progression. I would come home upset on at least 3 of the 5 working days, mainly because of the way someone in our team was spoken to by management or for feeling like I was not going to progress with my career at Lance Mason.
Unfulfilled promises in respect of progression and salary. The pay is abysmal. I was paid £14,000.00 for working 8.5 hours and overtime (which went unnoticed and unappreciated); whereas other people (management's favourite) on the same team were paid more 3-5 k more.
The HR personnel is very unprofessional. An employee was accused of lying when she was off sick for a stomach bug; just because her symptoms changed on the second day. The employee had a good case for constructive dismissal but the employee left on her own will as she was fed up of being bullied by the HR department.
For those people with law degrees looking for a promising in the law profession, i strongly advice you to stay clear from Lance Mason; they will crush your confidence and shatter your dreams into a million pieces.
I am now working for a company where I look forward to coming into work. Although I have more responsibilities I come home with a smile on my face as the management are supportive.
