Pros
There are those amongst us that go up and beyond the call of duty to better the lives of the students are positions serve. Ample paid leave.
Cons
Cowardice, dysfunctional and apathetic management. Good-old-boy paradigm keeps those in the club protected and hooked up with perks such as attending conferences, retreats, choosing their desired work schedules and receiving quality technology. Not enough resources to effectively support students. Constant political conflict amongst employees, labor unions and board makes for a toxic work environment. Little to No opportunities for advancement, higher pay or professional development. Few are pulling the weight of many. No enforcement of policies.
