      - the non-engineers are nice and supportive - equipment and hardware is acceptable

      Cons

      - there is a intense clique-oriented mindset in which if you are not in with the "management" crowd, you will basically never be promoted or have your abilities recognized - overwhelming focus on "readable" code and alarming lack of concern with actual tech
