Cons
The CEO and his son (the "Chief Strategy Officer") are absolutely insane. They provide no transparency, micro-manage everything, and the CEO has a temper the likes of which I've never seen in the workplace. They are beyond stingy:
-No plastic utensils
-No coffee in the office
-No paper cups
-You want a stapler? Borrow the secretary's
Yet with all of these "austerity measures" they continue to drive crazy Porsches to work each day.
I was deeply under utilized by my direct manager and the executive team, despite repeatedly asking for more work and projects. I felt I was never given a chance to help move the business forward or even make a case for my ideas. If it's not their idea, it's just never going to happen.
I saw almost 1/5 of the staff leave in my short tenure, and many of them breathed a welcome sigh of relief when it was done. I did too. Not a good sign at such a small company.
During the interview process the values of teamwork, positive social environment, transparency, and fun were all mentioned, yet none of it was true
