Pros

New building with lots of conference rooms and meeting spaces for groups of employees, lots of attention is paid to the aesthetics of how things look (but don't be deceived) lots of events to celebrate overworked employees with bar-b-ques and ice cream socials. Friendly staff in other departments. Very large facility. Lots of employees that are related to each other or are friends with each other outside of work, HR sends out weekly emails with a list of free events in the community for that time period, special events, and other discounts available to employees.

Cons

Pay is way below industry standard, they will work you to death for pennies, If there is not enough work due to a scheduling error, employees are sent home and are not able to work the 40 hours a week they thought they signed up for. They are not given the opportunity to work in an area outside of their normal position. Employees have to constantly attend training and sign revised copies of SOPs after being trained on a new procedure, this is not a bad thing but when minor grammar revisions are made to the SOP, all employees have to be retrained and this cuts down on company productivity. People will to cover their own mistakes and the people who seem to have done nothing wrong end up being scape goat and are fired. Really bothersome when your computer is constantly not working properly and repeated attempts to get it fixed fail. Management is not about being fair, too much nepotism and too many employees act like prima donnas and get preferential attention and perks, it is so disturbing how people say "Oh that's just her, she has always acted that way!" Many of the managers are unprofessional in their actions towards other employees, and openly gossip about another employee with their friends and other managers. It is a big Peyton Place Some employees are seen openly violating personal cell phone policies by spending a large amount of time spent not on work, but on their personal cell phones in the office environment.
