Pros

Product had potential There were some good people, but most were let go in the mass layoff

Cons

- Leaders do not foster growth or support employees. Some of the worst micro management I've seen in my career. While I was told I was doing a good job, the reminders to stay in my swim lane and the regular critiquing of specific wording in emails, jira tickets and presentations showed a lack of trust in me. Although I am very experienced in tech, I often felt I was treated like an entry level employee. -Poor culture. Lots of silos. People at Linc don't root for each other. It's every person for themselves. Occasionally, leadership seemed to be receptive when I shared concerns, but most interactions with management were abrasive and short, which did not set the collaborative or supportive tone that I expect in a professional workplace. -Linc lacks a clear customer and growth strategy. It was difficult to grow accounts because I felt unsupported. There was no clear focus. Product Management, Analytics, and Engineering put up barriers at every turn. Meetings scheduled with the product team were declined with no explanation. Internal collaboration at Linc is nearly non-existent. In addition, the executive team does not seem aligned on a vision or growth strategy. Linc used a disproportionate amount of resources to save a very small, high demand client with no strategic growth opportunity, while large enterprise clients walked out the door. Also, the high employee turnover throughout the company did not instill confidence and speaks to Linc’s lack of a comprehensive customer and employee centered vision. Right before the Holiday, Linc laid off over 60% of its workforce, and frankly they kept many of the employees that made working there a less than pleasant experience. This company isn't going to make it.

Dear former teammate, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I've reviewed every word of it. I agree with your feedback on silos existed within our business. For a long time, we were proud of our family-like culture. However, as the majority of the team growth happened during the pandemic and in a largely remote setting, we have definitely been experiencing growing pains in maintaining that family-like environment. As the founder & CEO, I carry the most responsibility of that. The recent re-organization was a very difficult but necessary step to address these challenges. We knew that we had to break down those silos and optimize our business fundamentals. I know that you are not here to witness the changes we are driving. But if I could share just a few words, it’s have to say that it is truly amazing to see the transformation. Everyday I'm touched and energized by being part of this team of truly talented individuals. With silos being broken, business operations becoming simplified, our teammates become more than talented professionals, they become problem solvers, leaders, and I’m learning from the team every single day. So thank you again for being part of our growth journey. I know you have worked hard here and gave it all. Myself and team are heads down focused. We are committed to nothing but a success that you one day would be proud to say, “I was part of Linc”. Sincerely, Fang

Pros

Employees here are collectively some of the smartest people I've worked with and we're all "in it to win it". It's a small team, so people become like family and care about each other on a personal level. There's a good work/life balance too. Linc truly cares about establishing deep relationships with our customers. We're not just a vendor, but an extension of our customers' team. The product is best in class. It's exciting to be on the forefront of the best technology in this space. CEO knows what the market needs/wants, technical/product teams have solved for some of the most complex use cases and the CS team works tirelessly to ensure customers are happy.

Cons

Job responsibilities have shifted in the last year, so the remaining people have absorbed areas of focus they were not originally hired to do and/or want to do. There really isn't a brand culture and it would be nice if there was some more in-person collaboration.
