Cons
As the title says, Corporate, especially new higher ups do not care about their workers. There is no work life balance for management, and if you’re not management you are akin to a fly in corporates eyes, that they’d easily crush and move on from. You will be overworked and understaffed, and they will still want to cut hours, for… money? The amount of times guests complain about workers being understaffed means nothing to them. They only see numbers and the employee is just another number. Therefore good employees leave and hotels are in a constant cycle of hiring new people. It’s honestly very shameful how little they care about the people doing all the work for them. Finally, corporate is out of touch with the reality of the post pandemic hotel workers experience.
